Default short throw shifter

im not 100% on the brand or model but i think its from ford racing
anyways its in my friends 97 gt, do u guys think there would be a problem with it fitting in my 00 v6? or what would i need to find out to see if its compatible?

what transmission do you have and what transmission does he have? you need to make sure that they are the same tranny in order for it to work

EDIT: i believe you have the T-5 Tranny and he has the T-45. it wont work

97 GT=T45, your's=T5.
FRPP doesn't make their own shifter, but rather sell B&M and Hurst shifters (which unfortunately are now the same company thanks to B&M buying them out). If he has the Hurst shifter, they use a spacer for it to fit the T45 so it will fit yours if you remove it. However, I believe the B&M version doesn't work the same way.
