Ok so starting Sunday when I take off and get on it pretty good, the drive shaft hits the floorboard under my center console. The bracket is fine because I sat with the brakes on and got on the gas and it did nothing. It is only if I turn sharp and get on the gas or if that rear hits a pretty bad bump. Any ideas what could cause this?

 

have you lowered your car? did you remove the damper from around the center section in the rear? did you change to an aluminum driveshaft?

 

The car was lowered last April. I haven't taken anything off. I got it up on a life and did not see anything wrong or broken. The only thing that I did see was the isolator on the right rear spring was coming apart a little. I wouldn't think something that small would make the drive shaft start hitting though?

 

Get under your car and see if the drive shaft can be moved up and down. basically see if theres any slack.

 

yup, that could do it. also look at the top spring isolator and see if it's comming apart to

 

Check your tranny bushing too. If it's shot, it could let the engine torque the trans/driveshaft as it pleases.

 

Drive shaft was firm. Pushed up and down on it and it didnt move

 

I'm going to say tranny bushing. I've seen worn/broken U joints do it too.
