so who wants to tell me what i gotta do to replace a heater core

 

Take out all the interior dash. Glovebox, radio, front panels. Drain the AC, detach the heather core. Replace....blah blah. Or pay close to 600 bucks for a shop to put it in. I vote second choice, I just had this done 5 weeks ago.

 

how many miles was on your car? im not even positive if theres anything wrong. i hear tinging from my passenger vent when the heat has been on for awhile. and thats it. my dad claimed he smelled antifreeze today. so thas what kinda made us think it was the heater core. but i dont smell it. so yea. 600 bucks could be used in such a better way. im pissed if the heater core is going

I have 73,xxx. I knew it was the heater core from the smell, leakage, and leakage in the cabin. When our cars were made, there was a recall on the heater core 2 months later. It's just a defect.

 

yea mine isnt leaking yet so i dunno. how gay was puttin in a new heater core
