Default My car

I just wanted to get some peoples opinions on what i am thinking about doing.......I have a 99 v6 auto (yea rough i know) but i was thinking about butting a super charger on it and my buddy suggest changing the gears and getting positive traction. Is it possible to get positive traction for my car and what would be the best gear size??

thanks for the help.

Welcome to the site, got any pics of your car?. As for gears, they're the best bang for the buck, since you have an automatic, I'd suggest getting 4.10s. You'll definitely notice a difference with them installed.

yep, as stated above get 4.10's and definately get a posi, since you already have the rearend torn apart might as well have them install them. Also since you are changing the gear size you will need some sort of tuner to correct your speedo for the new gears.

their are lots of places to look for posi's i will get a site for you and add it to my post, and you will likely need to change your fuel pump and definately your fuel injectors since you will be cramming more air in your motor, you will need to match it with fuel...as for the underdrive puelly i have hear that it is best not too, but i am not 100% sure on it...
here is a site for a posi:

You dont run UD pulleys with a blower as it will change its speed and slow it down. Stock pulleys are where its at. You would need to upgrade the injectors and fuel pump with a supercharger and the ford t-lok can be had for cheap of ebay for the 7.5" rear end found in your car. You can get a used one and get new clutchs for it for 40bucks and repack it yourself its very easy to do.
