Saw this on another board, its worth checkin out, i had some unauthorized people as third party members.



I got this from a friend, If you guys have ebay accounts, go to your account info and hit preferences. scroll down and check out the third party section. It should be empty unless you have someone on there. I checked mine and had 5 of the sneaky bastards that got on there, dont know how they got there but they were. you can delete all the scammers by going to prefernces, go to third party and click revoke if there are any you dont want,just go over to the right. just follow the instructions and delete them. Just thought I'd pass it along I was suprised to see unauthorized people in my account.

can someone that knows how this became so widespread post up a brief detail. I'm betting that email scams had something to do with it but I'm probably wrong.

Yea, had one 2.... and I'm selling an xbox 360 and smoked headlights as we speak on ebay...

 

I was told also by getting rid of these, it gets rid of some pop ups. I had a pop up that would show up on my ebay main page every time until i cleared out this stuff.

 

I didn't have any, But good looking out Fonc.

 

I found 2 on my wifes account. Channel advisors services, and auction works. Both look like legit companies trying to sell you e-bay running software. They probably got e-bays blessing on this deal. Gonna show her anyway and she can decide if they get the big boot..
