Hey guys i am fairly new to Mustangs and just bought me a 2001 v6 Mustang around 6 months ago. I did some upgrades for show and am done doing that but i am specialist for shows not performance and need yalls help. I am trying to figure out what would be the next best things to do that are reasonable in price and worth doing.

Here are the things i already have.

1. Stalker 2 body kit with side scoops
2. Stalker 2 Dual Vented Hood
3. Halio Smoked Headlights
4. Smoked Tailights
5. Street Glow Underbodies (Red)
6. Zex Dual Purge Kit with Red LEDs (The Nitrous system is getting installed as we speak)
7. Pioneer touch screen CD player, two P3 12' subs which are molded into my fiberglass rear delete seat kit with 2,400 Rocksford Amp.
8. Two 12' t.v.s molded into my trunk
9. Black with Chrome lip 18' rims with Kumho low profile tires
10. Dual Black Racing stripes
11. Billet *****, power windows etc *****
12. Delete Ant.
13. Steeda Cold Air
14. Red Engine dressing
15. Black Leater Racing Seats
16. 5% tinted windows
17. Dual Flowmaster X pipe
18. Painted Rotars


I want to start on the egine now and need some suggestions of what to get!!! Any suggestions will be useful

I won't put much past him. Its not really uncommon for people to have the same things on their cars.. theres two cobras in town that are the exact same...

Same cham paint, same mods, everything.

So I'll wait to judge. ;x

As far as show mods go... you can paint your calipers, do some custom work to your interior, maybe drop those little lights into your engine bay like Area 51s got.. after that from what I see your show mods will turn into being custom and then its all what you want.

Could go with matching colors for everything, ect..

BTW add some Flame sitckers down the sides, that will set the car off!

 

Just seems kinda odd to me you know. If I am wrong I'll be the first to apologize. Just seems odd that we would get two guys on here who say they have the same car, with the same mods, and one of them has no idea that a 88MPH 1/8 mile doesn't constitute a 8.8 timeslip. I ran 8.9 at almost 8 miles less...Come on now.

he probobly just made a mistake thinking since its two pipes. dont think you could have quad pipes but that would be interesting

 

Stock 2001 GT hood I got from a club buddy.

 

There are also V6's that come with GT hood scoops stock...is it the 2003 models?
