uh this air freshioner was the worst mod...

heres why...

I bought it... and it had this half nekked chick on it... and after I paid for it I saw another half nekked airfreshioner chick... but the other nekked chick had her titters exposed... so I bought them both... and I could hae returned the other one but I put it in my moms minivan instead... then I was down a buck and... eh... I'll stop now

1) buying a Vortech blower, **** sucked everytime i made boost i'd get belt slip, then i snapped 5 belt trying to make it tighter)

2) Not buying N2O from the start, would have saved me alot of money.

3) wish i would have kept my K&N intake. I'm going to end up cutting my UPR intake, i had to buy because when i took off the blower because i needed and intake.

I'm actually happy with nearly everything on my car. Woohoo.

1.) Projector headlights
2.) Trying different exhaust tips and not sticking with SLP's tips
3.) BBK CAI I guess, even though I don't consider that a total waste.

Tinted headlight covers.. They are usless at night, and they scratched up my headlamps too.

And my flowmaster catbacks. This is not a worst mod, more like my only real mod so far. I really love the sound, but I hear better Stangs all day long. The shop I had them installed only uses flows though. I'm still happy with them. And plus my stainless rolled tips look great.

Let's put some exhaust vids in the video section guys. I wanna hear some different sounds. It hasn't had any new vids in a while, Lets hear yours..

1) getting a v6
2) Getting red, I kinda wanted yellow but my dad and sister wanted Red. But as a look back i would have rather gotten either Yellow or Sonic Blue.
3) have not done enough mods to regret doing any and hopefully i wont.

1. Buying it with a tan interior. Should have waited and found one with black (but then again, it was hard to pass up the deal I got)

2. Buying a 99 with 98 heads (but, in my defense, I didn't know it at the time!) still pisses me off though.

3. Buying smoked headlights with amber instead of clear corners.

1. K&N FIPK....it performs great, but for some reason it causes my car to stall every now and again....it's been a big problem for lots of mach owners with FIPK's....something to do with the MAF screen. Should have went with C&L.

2. Diablo Predator. I had to ditch it for a custom tune loaded directly into the car. The stupid thing would allow the car to gain any power after 5,500rpms or something close to that.

+1. I have all 3 and completly regret it. I couldn't really afford a GT since I only saved up a few grand before I got my license and the cheapest 'stang I could find was ofcourse a six that was auto. I'm using my army signing bonus to buy a GT. By then I'll have enough money saved up, on top of the money I'm saving now, to buy it straight out.

how about the worst mod the previous owner of my car did?

http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n.../interior6.jpg
http://i114.photobucket.com/albums/n.../interior4.jpg

jerk painted the interior trim with yellow spray paint and messed it up baaad. he used some paint that ate away at the trim and put holes in it and the original color is starting to show through in some places. needless to say, its all getting ripped out this winter and replaced.

Only one mod so far, but did it on both stangs at the same time:

Vinyl letter inserts for the bumber, black for the Mach and silver for the GT.

They've been on for a month now and are peeling, hell, the silver GT letters started peeling the next day when I ran it through a touchless car wash. Definitely ordering SS inserts next time, hopefully soon.

as per bumper inserts... I have (had) 'brush aluminum' look vinyl decals on my old 95 v6... and they still look fine to this day years later and TONS of washes... not like we go easy on them either. I bought SS inserts for my GT, they are constantly clean, perfectly mirror like in appearance, even when I neglect my car here at college...
I dont regret any mod to either of my cars... maybe I should have just bought brushed stainless steel inserts from UPR (but they diddnt offer them back then) for my old v6, that would have looked better than the vinyls...
EDIT: Just remembered, I bought a chrome icense plate frame for my old v6, looked good for the longest time basically till I gave the car to my lil bro, now it looks corroded etc... time for a new one, SS this time.

Yeah um ok here we go.

1) I got a "resperry red" Skoda felicia. Look it up.
2) I decided to spray interior panels silver
3) hah, I actually learnt so much from the 2 catastrophic things above that I havn't done anything else too dumb!
