I figured I would share a few good races that I came across last night. A friend and I were just taking a little drive around when I pulled up next to a 05 GTO. He had exhaust that sounded like crap and thats about it. We both punched it from like a 2nd gear roll to 4th gear and I stayed with him pretty well. By the time he had to let off because of a car, my front bumper was at it side mirror. Then a little bit later on, we were coming back on the freeway and a WS6 drove by me and reved on me and kept going. So I caught up to him, and he was a little hesitant on racing. We were cruising around 60, I dropped it into 3rd and we punched it. We were pretty much neck and neck, and I think he missed a shift and I started pulling. Then we had to back off because of the other cars. All and all I was pretty impressed with the way my car hung with the LS1/LS2. Sorry for the long post but I thought I'd share with you all.

 

Good runs, I beat a gto from a 1st gear roll and killed an ls1 on the high way, but I also have gears, but no headers.

 

those GTOs are fast arent they like 400hp/400tq or something like that

 

Good runs! The GTO's have plenty of power at the motor...but wheel power it's low 300...plus a 3900lb car....yea not too impressive like Pontiac claimed.

 

after i had my a/f check after my blower install i seen a 04 and 05 GTO playing on highway 80. so i caught up to them we took over 3 lanes and let it rip from 50 to whatever. well in 2nd gear on the dyno the car only put down 350 hp but i killed the **** out of those 2 cars.
