Hey guys, I have a 94 gt, and I was trying to find out what my real curb weight is, on paper of course, without going and getting my car weighed.

Anyways, in doing so, it seems that a 94gt weighs about 3450 lbs according to things ive read.

But what REALLY ticked me off was that when I read somethign else, it said that the 96's weighed about 3260...

did the 4.6s really reduce the weight of the car by 200 pounds?! i mean...wtf?! why did i buy a 5.0 then?! well, i love my 5.0 and wouldnt go with the crappy 4.6 they used those years, but my point still stands ... wtf, did they really drop 200 pounds?

 

aluminum heads and a minor set of suspension tweaks lost them some weight but 200lbs.. eh dunno bout that.

I've always classed 94-04's as weighing about the same year to year... right around 3400-3600lbs+ with driver and gas.

My car should be right around 3000-3100. Someday I'll find out for sure.
