hey all i'm lookin to redo my system this winter and was curious as to what u all have.. i'm looking to do a custom enclosure in the spare tire well... if anybody has any ideas pics or advice i'd appreciate it.. thanx

check out jl audio's stealthbox... they're pricey, but designed to fit perfectly and the carpet is color matched. http://www.jlaudio.com... i don't think they use the spare well. are you planning to remove the spare completely? if not there isn't a whole lot of room to work with, if yours is like my '03 gt hardtop.

Right now i have an older Clarion Head unit (but i still love it) and 2 nice Alpine Speakers in the rear deck... no sub, but i have my brothers old amp waitng for one when i get one, i was looking at a custom encloser, i am waiting for someone who bought on on the Stangnet forums to show the pics of his install and tell us how it sound, then maybe i will get one...

a little more pricey than most carpeted boxes, but i am thinking if it has the right interior volume for the sub... than it should be a perfect match...
It would be interesting to put a sub enclosure in there, but i would be afraid of getting a flat and being screwed... lol, and no one could 'see' your system, if you are a super showoff, lol
