How mant of you have a painted engine compartment on the SN 95 cars? My car is dark mineral grey and I want to paint my compartment. I believe that the S197 cars are painted the same as the outside. Mine right now is grey primer.

My question is, what color to paint it, would you go with
a) same as the outside color
b) flat black
c) matte black
d) gloss black
e) some other color

It is easier to touch up flat black than gloss black. I would paint it semi gloss or matte black as pure flat black looks like primer. I painted my bumper with that black bumper paint and it looks incredible as it's flat with a slight shine. In your case I would try and keep it same color as car.
