Default FML vinyl troubles..

Ok, so today i took my car to a local tint shop to have the windows tinted and have a few vinyls put on. GT hood stripe, blackout panel vinyl, and roush rear valence vinyl. The windows look great, along with the roush valence and GT hood stripe. Heres the shitty part, the blackout panel area. I took a look at it and apparantly it wasnt pre cut completely, there and nice perrrty razorblade cuts on the vinyl, no big deal, but he cut them ON my car. So now i have nice razorblade slices in my cars paint, yay, AND lets not forget the best part. Earlier this night i went to put the Ford Emblem back on aaand he has the oval off by about a full inch, so the emblem is halfway on vinyl halfway on paint, and about an inch of paint is showing. It looks like ****. It needs re- done without a doubt, but idk the best method to approach this. Info please, what would you do? Etc.

You should have done the black out vinyl solo. I did mine, I have never did anything like it to anything and mine came out fine.

First of all, I'd recommend making that dude first of all rip that **** off and buy you a new one. Put it on yourself. It's not that hard at all, soapy water, some time, credit card, blow dryer, etc...

How did he put your Ford Oval Emblem in the wrong place? It has two peg like things that protrude from the back of it. There's two identical holes that the emblem fits into perfectly. How can you **** that up? I'll note that I had to take my emblem off to put my vinyl on.

If you need help with it, if you plan on doing it yourself, just pm me, I'll give you a very detailed write up on how to do it.

I took the ford emblem off myself before taking it to him. When i got my car home, i went to put it on, and the alignment was off with the vinyls. Hold on ill try to link pictures. Vinyl was from Rockymountaingraphics.

If you got it from Rocky Mountain they come pre cut and there is no need to remove the Ford oval for the install. Bring it back to the shop and have them order you up a new one if they messed up your current one. I'd also have them credit some money back for cutting into your paint.

This is my main worry, the paint. Will it even come out? ****** pisses me off that people around here do this ****, NO RAZORBLADE should EVER go near a ****** car! Do you think i should go vinyl again, or just say **** it, and go for this? http://www.americanmuscle.com/sr-hon...anel-9904.html

I left my oval on during install, and had a sticker shop do it, took them a little over an hour to do all vinyls. I paid them AFTER they did the job. They messed up my tail light vinyl once and they re-cut strips and re done it. I didn't pay till it was satisfactory.

Man honestly, I'd go with the panel. I'd love to have one on my car. Shouldve went with it in the first place cause you can actually sell it later.

Try to get him to reimburse you for the damage that he has caused to the car, then use that money towards the trim panel.

Just get the vinyl again...The panel is too expensive for what it is and I personally hate the honeycomb look.

Ok wtfh, i talked to some friends and i thought **** it, ill just cut the nubs off the emblem and make it line up. I look again before i do so, and wahlaa its peeling. Im just gunna have him reinburse me for it and have him take it off, then go with the honeycomb panel.
