how can i get the license plate bulb cover off without stripping the little **** plastic screws that ford puts all over their cars? I went out just before and couldn't see too well since its dark so im just waiting till morning but every time i try to remove one of them all i do is strip the **** out of it. Is there a little tab i have to pull off cause it looked like there was one but i couldnt see too good. let me know i no its stupid but i have some time.

 

are you just trying to replace the bulb? When I was replacing my plate bulbs, it took me about 5 min. to realise that you don't have to take the cover assy. off. The socket twist releases from the back of the assy., you'll see the wires on the inside of the trunklid.

yeah, I felt pretty stupid when I figured it out.
