Default Tire shine

I have almost always used black magic spary on foam to make my tires shine. I just bought some meguiar's hot shine gel because I didn't like the foam spinnig onto the car if you don't wipe the extra off. Well now i noticed the gel does the same. My question is what does everyone else use.

I use Meguiar's Hot shine gel. I haven't experienced sling with any tire shine I used, because I rub it in well enough to make sure there isn't excess sitting on the tire, and you should let any tire shine dry for about 30 minutes before driving the vehicle.

Like pcola said, if you let it dry long enough you won't have that problem.

Stoners "More Shine."

Just like the Stoners glass cleaner, it's an awesome product. I can spray it on, wait 2-3 minutes and drive around with zero sling and a perfect matte black shine.

I use a Meguairs spray product but it's not a gel. It's been the best thing I've used over the years as it's super easy to apply, no clean up, doesn't splatter, and takes no time to go around each wheel. It's just like an aerosol can of shine.

Which specific product do you use? I know they make a hot shien tire product and also a foam which doesn't produce such a shine. I used the foam one for a while but then wanted more shine so I went with the Hot Shine can and it sprays like a piece of ****. Just curious...

I think I use the same stuff...not foam, not gel just a spray. The can has like 3 settings on the nozzle for low profile tires to regular tires so I can hit my wife's 15's on her civic when I wash it. I never put the stuff on when I'm in a hurry to leave...usually let it sit for at least a 15-20 minutes and I've never had a problem with the sling up.

I'll spray the hot shine product right before I leave to go somewhere and never had a problem with it slinging. I don't slather it on or anything but just a nice coat.

I use Meguiar's Endurance. It is durable.
