Default Factory fog lights...

On mustangs with factory fogs, do the fogs turn off when the high beams come on? I'm taking a class to become a licensed PA state safety inspector and your supposed to fail a car if they stay on with the high beams. I ask because the i've driven a mustang with fog lights and i vaguely remember the fogs not going out when turning on the highs. I assumed that the lights were factory but maybe not...

They all do it, but you can wire them to stay on all the time when the parking lights or more are turned on.

Well.. High beams are exactly what you don't want to us in fog. So if you're turning on your high beams, then you must not be going through fog. And if you're not going through fog, then there's no reason to have your fog lights on . I don't understand why people feel the need to have all of their lights on at once.. Just makes it look like they're driving some Subaru rally car.

yarp, if a cop sees you with highs and fogs on he can pull you over and if you have a legit safety inspector by law he can fail your vehicle and not give you a new safety sticker.

Is the fog light button supposed to click like the rear defrost and traction control buttons do? My fog lights aren't working and I think that's the reason, also the light on the button doesn't come on either.
