dont try to smooth it out! when touch-up goes on it looks like a bump on the surface. as it drys it bonds to the paint. Reminder* if your car has a clear coat, you might want to think about using a clear coat touch-up over the deep scratches

Why wouldnt i smooth it out? I know it forms as a bump but wouldnt that look bad unless it formed really well to the cut? And can you link up a good polish please? Also where would you get clear coat touchup?

you can smooth it out its your choice. how were you going to do that tho? as for the polish i know of one place but you only get it in bulk (1 gallon min) or here is one similar to what we use:
http://www.lanescarproducts.com/ultimateglaze1.html

here is the touch-up:
http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...clearcoat.aspx

it's not needed but its recommended. honestly i have never used it on any of the cars i have done and i have had no complaints. your call

Well if i smoothed it out when i first applied it, id use a sqaure sponge, or a credit car kinda like thing. Or if i really wanted to go all out i could buy this. But ill probably use a flat sponge to try and level it out, and see how it looks. For a sealant they mean like wax, or do they mean like the clear coat actually? http://www.autogeek.net/langka-paint...epair-kit.html
