Never let your car have tities...
So i wanted a signature made and i took some pics, when i did, most people said take your bra off. I did so today and OMFG. Never buy a bra, all these things do is trap dirt underneath them. :( Now to take pictures i gotta wash and wax my car again... Bras FTL

ha yeah they had one come into the dealership i worked out over the summer with one on. Underneath the bra was freaking a mess. I would never ever get one not even a clear bra for that matter.

Clear bra FTW. I've had 'em on a few cars, and never had any issues. Good thing to have around here, since there are tons of quarries in my area (plus Illinois throws down gravel during the Winter.) The type of bra you installed has long been known to cause damage to paint jobs. Sorry to say it, but you should have done a little more research before putting one on.
|
Well i got a 91 sunfire with a bra but i have never taken it off and now im afraid to lol. If i ever do ill have to buy a new bra for it cuz im sure the paint fadings will look like dogshit.
|
I am not looking forward to Love Bug season around here. I still won't get a bra for mine though. I am just going to have to wash them off everyday. Lol.

on my old white V6, it had a Lebra. i took that shit off the first day i got it. i hate lebras with a passion.
|
I LMFAO about that bra problem, because really if ya think about it, its common sense that putting something like that on your car will either tear up your paint or something will go wrong with it. lol wow
just my opinion yet again lol |
if you are washing and waxing the car.... why would u leave the bra on?
|
Figure it protects the front end more than wax could, but hell nvm :(

If you routinely wash and wax the car, you shouldn't have any major problems with bugs. You might need to get a claybar to pull some bug guts out of the paint, but that's easy to do. The wax will prevent the bugs from becoming embedded into the paint and regular washing will prevent the bugs from eating up your paint. |
Whats a Clay bar?

You can buy the OTC kits at like AutoZone, Advanced, Wal-Mart, etc. They come with a piece (or two) of clay and some detailer. You run the piece of clay over the car and it will pull out things that are embedded into the paint, things that normal washing cannot remove. You should look into it. It may help you out a lot. :)

Hmm ill definatly look into that :D
