Default Suggestions on Brake Caliper Color?

I need some advice on what color to paint my brake calipers. They are currently blue but not dark enough. I was thinking black or getting the body shop to mix up some Sonic blue. I would like black but I was thinking they would hide behind my wheel and not be very noticeable with the chrome AR Rebels. Any Suggestions?

"Layla" had a pretty good week though. She is currently rockin' the Mach 1 Delete grill and we also put new rolled exhaust tips on. (A hanger broke loose and put a hole in one of my pipes so I decided just to get new tips). And last night I darkened the tail lights with VHT Nite Shade & Clear Coat and the outcome turned out awesome. (I'll post pics soon...) I still need to put some Polish Compound on and buff them with wax so they shine even more.

I think they'd pop out a little more if they were Sonic Blue and they'd blend in more if they were black. Either way, you can't go wrong. I say go for the Sonic Blue.

The mods will probably move this to 'Show, Shine and Tunes'.

I don't tink dark blue would make much of a difference with what you've got now. Might as well just go to black.

Yeah dark blue won't be too noticeable. If you really want them to stand out, go with yellow. Black would probably be the best choice though. You don't want too much blue going on or else it just blends in with the paint of the car and people might not notice it as much.

nah. the caliper is still while the wheels move. It would add depth IMO.. I think it would look sweet! screw my idea, go polished.

I say black, and pick up some of those silver lettered stickers for brakes that say mustang or are just a running pony.

-1 for polished...they'll blend in too much with your rims.

I think they'd look good on a black wheel with a chrome lip, but I really feel strongly that it will blend in too much against the current rims.

You are probably right on that since my wheels are chrome (I liked the idea though!)

I think I'm leaning toward black. I thought they would hide behind my wheel but maybe they would be subtle enough but still look good. IDK! Lol.
