i may be able to get ahold of a gt rear bumper for a pretty decent price. how much would you say it would run me to get it painted to match my car? (the bumper is yellow at the moment, my car is red.)

 

if you can sand and prime yourself your gonna save a **** ton and if u can mount it yourself aswell.. if you only go in for it to be painted with out in the car i would expect more than 150.. probably around 100, but if u have them sand, prime, install itll be 250..

 

Talk about pulling numbers out of your ***. Numbers vary on shop/dealership/etc...Best bet on an accurate estimate is to go around your town and find a place you trust to do the install and ask them. Anyone can pull numbers out of their butts, the shop that's actually going to do stuff will be the place with the real numbers.

 

lol...hopefully they wont quote me that much. i dont think i could stand the thought of paying more to get the stupid thing painted than it cost to buy it. lol. i may be liking the v6 bumper more and more...lol

 

well my cousin does body work.. a pint of satin silver paint.. which did my front bumper,, a touchup on my back bumper and the tip of my fender with a little left. It was 50 bucks. all the clear cote n stuff was expensive..
