Default Bullitt Floor Mats from AM

My son and daughter-in-law got me some Bullitt floor mats for my 2001 Mustang Bullitt from American Muscle. I really like the floor mats... but they are just a little bit too big. They roll up the sides slightly and the biggest problem is that the clutch pedal catches the top of the driver's side floor mat and flips it back as you let the clutch pedal out. This makes it rather catchy and hard to let the clutch out smoothly. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to cut the floor mat where the clutch pedal hits/catches it. It would be disappointing to have to cut my new floor mats.

For looks I give them a 10, but for fit I give them about a 3 or 4.

Anyone else have this issue with the AM floor mats?

What does this have to do with tech?

Moving to show,shine, and tunes....

Also it sounds like you got the wrong ones as I have the Pony ones and they fit great. He most likely got the wrong set or the wrong set was put in the box.

I'm sure they are the 'right' ones. They are shaped correctly but are just slightly larger than the originals. My biggest complaint is that the clutch pedal catches the front edge of the driver's side mat when you push the clutch all the way down and then let up again, partially flipping the mat back until it slips off the pedal. I guess I would think this sort of thing would have been figured out and fixed by this time (my Bullitt is a 2001 so it's not like I have a brand new model).
