Default possible sun damage?

when i bought my car i noticed a small portion of my rear driver side fender was missing a small patch of clear coat. the car seemed like a good deal so i forgot about it and bought it. well today while i was on my lunch break at sheets i noticed this small patch was now much larger and was flaking REALLY bad. i guess this would be sun damage? if so is there anything i can do to at least stop the patch from getting any bigger and maybe some kind of touch up clear u can recommend. ill post pics 2marrow when i get home

Ill be looking for the pictures. But I wouldnt be surprised if the car has been repainted and the paint is failing.

I wouldnt be surprised if the panel was repainted and the paint is failing. Either way, only way to fix that is a repaint.
