Leave it Wingless or not?

alright guys, i think i'm going wingless, well until i get a Cobra Wing(03/04). for now i just got plugs and touch up paint fromt auto zone and painted the plugs and then puyt them in the holes. i i think i'm going to get the bodyshop to fill them soon. i had this resido(sp?) from when i took the wing off(just took off the 4 nuts that hold it down from inside the trunk) on the top where the spoiler was mounted. i had some goo gone from when i removed the side decals. so i just used goo gone and the buffer and it got it off .
btw, i'm getting Cobra Sideskirts and GT sidescoops whenever Randy gets back from his vacation. lol.

I think you should leave it wingless if you plan on keeping the louvers. With the spoiler, it looks too 'busy' back there. It looks great wingless.
I removed my wing on my '05 this weekend, and I love it. It looks so much sleeker and cleaner. The glue was the worst part. I used Goo Gone and it took me an hour just to remove the adhesive. Did you have that problem, too, or do they just use enough glue to hold Paris Hilton's legs shut on just the '05's and up?
I plugged the holes with rubber plugs. I also sealed them with clear silicone underneath to prevent leaks. I'm not going to get them filled because I may get a different spoiler than the stock one in the future and I want to be able to mount it.
Keep it wingless!

I have louvers on mine with a 03/04 spoiler. you only need to the get two holes filled if you get the spoiler. mine came out really good, you can kinda see a little sink hole one side, but only if you look really hard, but that'll happen unless you buy a 03/04 cobra deck as well. It'll look good either way

Haha, yes. I couldn't believe the amount of water that was actually underneath mine when I removed it. I hated that thing. It was a pain during washing/waxing. It not only looks better, I don't have to worry about water leaking from it after I wash it and having streaks down the back of my car.
