I have a burgandy 2006 mustang with gold racing stripes. I am going to put louvers on the side windows but I was wondering if they would look good on the back window? They would be painted burgandy but would it look to 80's?? And should I put the gold stipes on them? Please let me know what yall think.........

Putting the stripes on the louvers could look good, but i doubt it.

 

Put the louvers on, don't paint them and do not put stripes on them. They are meant to be black just like they were in the 60/70's.

 

I love the look of my rear louvers But I honestly don't think they would look good painted or with stripes. Remember black goes with everything.

that garnett red color with gold stripes.... u need to paint the louvers in my opinion... three different colors is too much on the exterior

 

ALL OF THESE MUSTANGS ARE SOOOOO COOL! I HAVE NEVER HAD A SPORTS CAR BUT I LOVE MINE! THIS IS THE PERFECT CAR FOR ME. NOT TO MENTION ALL OF THE STUFF YOU CAN DO TO IT. black louvers would look fine imo, paint ones all ways look like **** i think.

 

Well thanks for the opinion. I guess I could get black ones for the entire car and put them on and then decide? I have seen alot with side louvers only and one with the back louvers (in person) but I have not seen any with both... and I have never seen one with the stripes down the louvers. I just though it would look good.??

 

go take some pics of your car from the rear, and maybe someone could do some photo shopping and give you a bit of an idea. But I like your thinking, start with them black and go from there. No doubt they will look awesome.

go to www.photobucket.com make an account, upload from there, then copy & paste the IMG code, it is real easy and that is how everyone on here post pics.

 

I personally am not a fan of that color combo, but yeah i would say stay with the black louvers. Im probably going with black quarter window louvers for mine and possible the rear window louvers, But then again i do have a grabber orange. Stick with the Black with no stripes though.
