Default Mirror covers

I was thinking about getting at set of the mirror covers at http://www.americanmuscle.com/covers.html, but I wanted to ask opinions first...

I have an '08 GT with Vista Blue paint, but I'm wondering if anyone has put contrasting colors on these and how it looks? I was thinking of one of the silver tones, to give it that chrome-type look. But I'm not willing to spend money and then find out it looks stupid. Anyone?

I think they look good on the '05+ cars. Kinda like '03-'04 Cobra mirrors.

I was thinking of getting the Tungsten Gray ones for my 2006 Mustang... I'm in the same boat, not sure if they'd look good or not...
