Hey guys
I have a screaming yellow convertible 06 with a black pony package.
I wanted to add on black racing stripes over the top, the 2 thick ones PLUS a hood scoop.
My question is ... what is "normally" done or what would look best do you think?
1) stripe first and put the yellow scoop over the black stripes
2 ) stripe the scoop too, so that the the scoop would pretty much have a little yellow strip down the middle ?
3) Stripe first and put a fully black scoop over the stripes ??

If anyones has any pictures of stripes AND hood scoops PLEASEEEEE POSTTT!! i have alot of trouble finding any good ones.

PLEASE REPLY !! i want some opinions from real mustang guys

depends what your mustang hood looks like. if it would look good with a hoodscoop then get it and put install it then put the rally stripes on the stang

 

I have an '05 GT, black with red racing stripes. The stripes aren't as thick as I'd like them to be, but when I get a new hood, they won't be there anyway.

I cannot stress this enough; if you have the money, get the stripes painted on. My stripes are stickers, they were there when I got it and they were professionally installed. Still, they are starting to fade and peel in some spots, mainly on the back bumper underneath the license plate and in other similar little grooves on the body. I hate them and I'm going to have them removed ASAP.

Personally, I prefer the yellow scoop on the black stripes, without the scoop striped.

The bottom line is, do whatever you like or what you think looks best. After all, it is your car.

 

yeah I like option 1 as well

 

You could just go for the wide stripe down the middle, and paint the scoop black. Of course, I AM biased. .
