Default interior color change

my car had a tan top on it and the tan interior. i changed the top yesterday and now im looking into changing most of the interior to black. i might keep some of it tan and change the charcoal pieces to black depending on how it looks.
my question is what would be the best way to do this. i talked to an upholstery guy and he said you can dye the plastic pieces black or i could try to find the pieces at a junk yard or i was thinking about maybe just painting them black, but im not sure what to do about the steering wheel. im ordering black racing seats (probably just the jegs seats). i want the dash and the doors black. any suggestions?

Dont know if I posted all my pics, but I did my interior by dyeing all the panels. Bought a used carpet (black) off Ebay, bought a black steering wheel (Ebay) and driver/pass side AC vents. The process isn't all that bad and I can tell ya what products I used and talk ya throgh it step by step. Do a search on my name here and see if I did my interior re-do pictures. The only thing I have left to do are the door handles. Other than that you wouldn't know I had a tan interior car. If ya want a zipfile of all my pics shoot me an email. wnordby@knology.net
