actually I was looking for the same kit because I'll need one if I swap the head unit for a navi/cd/dvd thing. Heres what I found from my research:

yeah I found it on the recommendation list on circuit city's website but their link wasn't working so I just googled it and found it on that web site. Same thing and its $10 instead of $20 like CC sells it for

So now that I'm ok with fitment issues, I need advice on getting the dvd player to work while driving. I'm not looking at watching movies while I drive, but while I have a passenger and such. Anyone know where I cana find the work around for it?

I believe you ground the e-brake sensor from the DVD player to your car's chassis. I'm sure there is more specifically, but thats the gist of what they do.

Alright thats what I seem to keep reading. I guess some people hook it up to a toggle switch so they can switch it on and off. I just wanted to make sure before I spent the money for one.

Well I bought the Kenwood DDX512. The only problem now is that I have to figure out how to mod the dash a bit. Since I have a 2000, dual single dins, there are two tabs that are interfering the double din bracket. anyone with a 2000 mustang put in a double din head unit in their car?
