Arrow Stripe Color Revisited

Ok guys, I know we just had a thread about this....however, my situation is a little different....I've got the torch red.....debating between black or white rocker stripes/rally stripes....now, my gut says white, but...I've got the black convertible top.....will white vinyls look bad with the black/charcoal top? I'm starting to think black would be a better choice to tie the car's exterior all together.

Second question.....bumper inserts.....do they come standard on ANY Mustang model from the factory? I just realized that mine has them, in black.....I remember seeing that body style on other's cars with no insert, red on red, black on black, etc........I think someone before me put them in, in which case, that rocks, don't have to put money out on that, unless I do all graphics in white *LOL*

Let me know what you guys think!

really? so no rockers OR rallies? I really like the look of rallies, at least....I mean, it's 100 bucks or so, not a huge investment...

thanks womb, still trying to make up my mind....so you don't think the white stripes and black top will clash eh? I can't find an exact pic of my car with white stripes (vert and my color red), so it's hard to visualize.....guess I need to use my Adobe Photoshop ACE certifcation and actually create the **** *LOL*

well, sometimes, it's not summer yet, and I still only have it down once a day, in the evenings or at nights...during midday, will be up for the most part...
in other words, 75% of the time I'm driving, top will be up.

$100..... that could go to
cai
gears
tuner
tlok...
UDP
or, if you want looks, chin, fogs, smoked headlights, torward some billet 18's
why spend $100 on stickers; wont make it faster and really not that big of an (none at all IMO) appearance difference
just my opinion.
i could be wrong

Yeah that's true....although I don't have alot to spend now, so I'd have to save that $100 TOWARDS a tuner, gears, etc.....going through the less expensive stuff now....
I dunno, I'm torn on it man *LOL*

If it were me I would go with Black if I were gonna do it at all, but I am not a big fan of the rocker panel decals unless they are the Steeda decals which are some money too!

And from factory the cars do not come with the inserts filled in, unless another person did it prior to you owning the car. Something stupid ford should have picked up on...but they failed to pick up on that and left it to the after market world.

Not the same body style and doesn't have the ralley stipes, but will you give you the basic idea of what the bright red w/ the black top and white rockers looks like. Just imagine the ralleys being there.... Looks good, but chrome wheels are a must to pull it off.

Yeah, there's another thread about this...but I THOUGHT he didn't have a vert...turns out, he did...I think he had the lighter grey top though, not black like mine *LOL*
Ughhh what to do, I'm starting to lean now towards not doing stripes at all right now and just ordering the chin spoiler.....plus my floor mats are coming in and my shorty antenna..

Thanks Sean! That's what I was looking for......and now that I see it...not sure if I like it *LOL* I almost think if I HAD to do them, black would be better...hell I dunno....I've got the chrome wheels, so that's no biggie...damn I really didn't think I'd spend this much time thinking about it....

no **** man, I wish it were easier *L* My wife says go all black on the stripes...but I see that black (to me) looks better on the maroon-color, not as good as white on the Torch Red...ughhh *L*

Save your money and buy something else. Your car already looks good without the stripes. Might as well go get some wheels, or do some suspension.

Yeah, I think I've decided to just not deal with them right now, just leave it without any striping at all....if I change my mind in the future, I'll put 'em on then....I've got too much other stuff I wanna get, got shorty antenna, niiiice floor mats, steering wheel cover all on the way....
