Default Removing interior door handle trim pieces

Hi Guys, i'm painting a few pieces in the interior of my 07 GT/CS - door lock cups, door speaker surrounds (all black, 'cos I can't afford the billet yet, and I hate the tan color) and I want to do the plastic trim piece around the door handles. Not necessarily the pice inside the scoop (right behind the handle) but the actual rectangular surround piece that covers the handle and the buttons. Problem is I can't figure out how to remove them. I can pry the corners up a bit, but it's real tight & I don't want to break anything. Can't find anything on google.

Anyone know how to do this?

Cheers,
BritStang
