dead speaker

so my passenger speaker produces no sound. what would be my plan of atack.

replace it. test the wires going to it with a known good speaker.

Get a regular 9v batt connect + and - of batt to speaker. Now unpluged and connnet one wire you should see the driver move up and down. If it does speaker is ok if not could be head unit is blown or you have to adjust the fader or balance button or least likly a wire is cut. Make sure you disconnect speaker from head unit as you dont want power from batt going to head unit.
