Vinager works wonders on water spots.

This goes in the show, shine, tunes section also.

vinegar or alcohol mixed 50/50 with water, or use a glaze. Glazes usually have fillers in them and will clean off glass.

On glass, a weak acid like vinegar (as others have stated) will work great. Watch the paint.....it should not harm it, but I would not pour it all over the place.

You could also try clay-bar.

Hi...for the water spots on your glass i would suggest Glass wax...its been around for ages....you can use it on silverware, mirrors, chrome, and metal appliances. Try looking at Murrays Discount for it.

I have water spots on my white stripes also. I tried waxing but that didn't work. Are you guys saying that vinigar will work there also? It really looks like crap on my new car!

Stripes are different then paint. The paint is resistent to the vinegar, but I don't know about the stripes. Try a small area and see what happens, but be careful.
