Default Laser Red Metallic

I have a 01 with the Laser Red Metallic paint (paint code - E9) and want to know which car care products are best for my color. I have read a lot of your boards but I am having a hard time finding the best product for my color.

I used to detail cars about 15 years ago, before the military, and I thought I knew it all. Boy, was I wrong. Car care technology (and paints) have improved by leaps and bounds. I appreciate any help you guys can offer.

http://www.autopia-carcare.com/

Check out that site, they have anything you need for top quality waxes, polishes, wash soap, and accessories.

If you dont want to use online stuff, I did my car in Turtle Wax Ice and it turned out great, longevity may not be the best though.

Maguiers NXT, Turtle Wax Platium, Meguiers Gold Class are all good for over the counter stuff.

Here is a pic of my car after wash, clay bar, Ice Polish, and Meguiers GC wax

Autogeek.net It is probably the #1 detailing site now as far as products go.

I agree with Greg, autogeek.net is the way to go. For your paint, Id go with DP MaxWax, Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, or Pinnacle Signature Series II wax. Souveran Paste if you feel like spending money.

I would use Meguiar's #21 synthetic sealant as the LSP.
