Lightbulb Speaker Box

I was bored at work Saturday and decided to draw a speaker box for the truck of my car. I took measurements and I think with very little work I could make it fit. I’m thinking if I took the passenger side and back seat out I could slide it in. Each side will have 1.397 cubic feet of air space.

What size speaker box do some of you have? I would hate to make it and find out its not going to work. Here is a picture of the drawing.

I had two JL Audio 10's. More than enough for me and sounded great. Box was either just over 12" or just under 11". 11.9-12.1" I would guess. I was able to slide it in through the trunk believe it or not, but justttttt barely.

O forgot to mention, I have Mach 460. So the factory amps in the trunk slightly got in the way, but we used that to our advantage and sandwiched the sub box between the two amps.

Talking Mine was...

It will be hard to fit two subs back there i think the biggest u can go would be two 12'.. I just installed some for a guy two days ago. They were two P3 12' Rocksfords. It was a pain the in *** to get the right box made. We ended up taking the trunk lining and the back speakers out in order to fit them in. Also i had to take the trunk latch out in order to get the box inside the trunk. If you are really interest i can send you the sketches that i drew up.
