Default Hollow grille scoop

Hi all,

I am looking for a hollow scoop grille for my 2001 GT. I've searched ebay, but almost all of the Billet ones that I've seen have a backing on them. I want to mount a custom light array behind the grille, so I need it to be hollow for the light to show through. Anyone seen anything of the sort?

- Sam

Ill hold back my comments on the "custom light array," but you can always drill out the holes in the stock grill.

IMO it'd be better if you had a fog machine in it to shoot fog out through the grille....more believable than a 'light array' ,lol

Get a nitrous kit w/ purge kit also and arrange the purge to come out the grill! It will be 10x better than a neon light....thats a Honda thing and like 1999ish.

FYi the scoop is closed in for a a reason. It flys off when the backing and or entire grill thing is taken out.

You can set it up so it stays on. Many people have done it.

Do you have a link to this? I don't want the "glow" style, I am looking for a Knight Rider style of lighting in the scoop.

I've seen the products at ccmustang.com, but that's the glow style.
