Default Damn It Cost Money To Look Good!

Not me your fools! The Car!

I have been doing a lot of research on the internet (autopia, autogeeks, svtperformance, corral, etc.) and found some very good products to get the shine out of my car. My car shines now, but I wanted the ultimate mirror shine on my 04 Comp Orange Cobra. I need to remove some of those little tiny spider swirls as well. You can see them if the light hits them just right.

My old *** was struggling waxing the cobra, my wife's van, and my daily driver--F-150. So I purchased this 6-speed Porter Cable (Buffer):

http://www.pakshak.com/porter-cable-7336.html

Well I found a shop that sold some stuff locally. $250 later (w/10% discount)...Here is what I picked up:

Buffer
Klasse All in One (34 oz)
Menzerna Intensive Polish (big bottle)
Liquid Sourveran Pinnacle Natural Brilliance Wax
Extra obital pads
microfiber towels.

I will experiment on our the wife's 06 minivan tomorrow. I don't want to do the cobra just yet. If I enter the car show the car show at the end of the month, I will do it the weekend prior.

Let me know if any of you have experience with any of these products.

PC is the best way to go. You can achieve great results with little chance of damaging your paint.

I have heard rave reviews about the porter cable... i think we have a very old buffer laying around the garage somewhere... but i am young and stupid enough to polish by hand (17y/o) and it help that i dont have to buy expensive stuff, i still wanna try that Turtle Wax ICE product... sounds sweet
