I have a street/fullface helmet that I would like to repaint. The body of the helmet is red and there is black on it as well.

How are helmets painted/put together these days. Is the black on top of the red stickers or paint? I can feel a ridge when I rub my finger over the black so I know it's cleared w/something. :helpsmili

What is the best way to take this helmet down to almost "bare nothing?" Who has attempted this kind of project? Want to get the helmet done before our track day May 20th. Thnxxx much
