Told you it was expensive. The Porter cable itself was like 130 bucks, all that polish/wax adds up to like 100 or so, plus the extra pads and microfiber towels and clay bar, it just all adds up.

I've heard sonus is really good too. The reason the guy on autopia recommends it, is because that's the main product they sell, but it's still a good product.

Well the best stuff carnuba wise on the market, according to all the guys on autopia.org and autogeek.net, is Pinnacle's Souveran Past Wax. That thing is 70 bucks a pop.

Yup, Souveran is the shizzle. BUT, as far as what is the best, take Mike Phillips (Meguiars) advice...
"Find something you like and use it often"
Everyone is going to have different opinions on which products are the best. It really depends on too many factors to get into that discussion, so, use what you like, praise it, tell your friends about it, just don't swear that your YOUR product is BETTER than another. As an example......

"The Big Mac is BETTER than the Whopper." Watch what happens now.

F YOU MIKE, THE WHOPPER OWNS ALL....lol jk

Thats exactly right, I use Meguires gold class on the basis that I dont like spending 4 hours waxing my car. Some love it (Lance, Mike) I hate it. Id rather be driving the thing. Not to mention, my paint needs a LOT of work with a buffer/repaint in some areas. Also doesnt help that I dont get to park inside a garage at all, so its basically only going to last 1 or 2 days AT MOST when I clean it really well.
