Start with the #80. Do something called a test spot to see if it is agressive enough. Keep in mind the buffer you are using may not be strong enough to break down the abrasives.

 

The rule of thumb that most people use is to use the least abrasive product to get the desired results. That way you are removing the least amount of clear or paint depending on the paint setup on your car. Work in a slow motion about an inch every couple of seconds and let the product work and get broken down.

Where can I get a good one for what I'm looking for?

I found the foam bonnet at Pepboy's along with a Microfiber one

 

The buffer meaning your orbital buffer. You won't mess the paint up either way, so I would just go to the spot where you see those swirls in the picture and then wash, clay, #80, and NXT wax and see if you get the results you want. if not, then try the #83, then #80, then wax.

 

Start saving for one of these, you won't get the TRUE results you want until you get one.
