I don’t know what I think yet, but it’s different. It would be cool to see black chrome. http://www.afswheels.com/v2/ecommerc...=wheels&id1=77

Well, I wont say that its disgusting, because you have to use it with only a certain few colors. But say you use it with a screaming yellow cobra, instant ronald mcdonald car. I dont know, for a street car, I cant imagine driving with them. Maybe for shows or something...

Well, the price is insane... and honestly, it would be hard to find any colors that would look good with it. Maybe if you went with some chromed up looking red and silver paint job... I doubt anyone will ever have their car schemed well enough to pull them off. I would NOT however mix blue lugs... Stick with red, black, or maybe silver.

I believe this 'black chrome' thing is where they powdercoat the rims black and then give them a polished finish... that might be "hypercoated" or hyper black rims though, im not sure if their is a difference but i likes the loosk of all of them!

Hear are some Pictures of black chrome wheels. Black chrome is a chrome wheel powder coated with a black finish it is the same way they make the red chrome wheels above. Black Chrome finish is not a solid black it is a finish similar to dark metallic gray or a dark hematite. The "blacked out" wheels you were talking about are probably black chrome just the manufactures uses a different name but it is the same technique. The Saleen wheels on this site are the same thing just Saleen calls it Hypercoating.

The red rims could look really cool with the right application. I think they would look SICK on a black or a white Mustang.
