Default Nitrous Tempted

I'm curious if I should go nitrous......i'm kind of scared too.Any advice or tips to make it safe and I wont blow up.

Edit: I messed up put this in the power adder section please.

I have been reading up. Hows this sound ? NX complete wet kit, with blow down tube, Purge, all wiring and AFM switch plate

You can't go wrong with that setup. Thing is, if you go NX, get all the bells and whistles, and buy everything new, you are more then half-way to a SC. Seriously, by the time you add purge and gauges, bottle warmer.... you can drop well over $2,000 on nitrous. Then, add a custome tune and chip for anouther $500....see what I mean.

This is why I went the Venom route. It was purely financial. I wanted a safe system for a reasonable investment. IMO, don't over-invest in a nitrous system.

Default direct port vs wet

hey guys im looking into to doing nos 2 - is this stuff safe for a stock block? - i was thinking i would go ahead and get the direct port system - and run a 100 shot - then after i forge turn it up to a 300 shot or so... any thoughts? - woudl direct port be safer?

NX wet kit with Genx2. NGK TR6 plugs gapped at .035 (100 shot), focus fuel pump (optional but is a good idea), MSD window switch (part # 8969), SCT 4 bank chip with NA and nitrous tune, you can probably run stock timing with the 100 shot and 93 octane. I can pretty much guarantee you that youll make more power with a NX 100 shot compared to Venom or NOS 100 shot.

NX is so badass! The ONLY other kit I would ever buy is a NOS NoZzle Kit. And Id prolly end up changing my mind and keeping the NX. It just works too well. I hear No detonation on a full blast 1000psi 100 shot on plain 93 octane. LOL prolly throwin the dice on the table , but the NX kept it running good.
