This might sounds dumb, but I am assuming that this Nitrous system should be fine on my V6. Not sure why they only talk about V8, but I can not see anything that would be built only for V6 at AM.

It says right on there:
Nitrous Kit Specifications - 96-04 V8

with most of the items on AM, they'll say if they are compatible with V6s if they are.

 

It says V8 but I have heard that they will work for 6's as well

 

He does raise a good point why would that kit not work with v6

 

That is my point. If this was only for a V8 then AM does not sell any Nitrous system for V6's. I can not see why this would not work on a V6. I guess I can contact AM and ask them.

 

Ask AMNick or Spike, they would know. I can't think of any reason why this setup would not work on a v6, but Nitrous isn't my speciality so I'm not going to dig too deep into that. I looked on the site real quick and the NitrousExpress setup just to the right of it says "all"...

the guys on the forum using the bottle should be able to help you out

 

althought this sold as a v-8 kit part number #82023, it has the same part number as the v-6 & v-8 kit, part number #82023.

this should fit, and work just fine.

 

It will work, requires everything needed.

Lines, Jets, Nozzle, Schrader Valve, ect.

The v6 needs the schrader valve as well popped onto the fuel rail..

 

It works on the v6 motor or any Ford EFI motor with a sharder valve on the fuel rail. I do not know why the kit is listed as only for a v8.

It has everything you need to get your car rocking with a nozzle,fuel rail fitting to get fuel,wiring, etc.... So again yes it works on your v6 mustang assuming its not an 05+ car.
