So I..
blew up my motor...
not...
just wondering how you guys mounted your bottles ect.. i was thinking about doing it close to the backseat so i can just pull down the seat, turn the bottle on, ect..cause i'm a lazy ****..
I guess at the track they really see how sturdy its mounted..wondering what a good solid mounting method would be..

Well I know you have seen mine as that's how mine is. I just took 4 good solid grade 8 bolts cut the carpet in an X once i knew where the bracket was going to go then I drilled threw (after making sure I was going to drill into anything underneath the car) and then used washers and locking nuts to keep it all tight. Mines very solid and well doesn't move at all. Just make sure where you mount it has nothing where you going to drill for the bolts and the feed line if you run yours under the car like I did which i think is the cleaner way to go, but that's just me.

I know I have posted this a few times, but here is mine again. I had to mount mine here because I have the MACH1000 setup and it was either here or in the middle of the back of the trunk. And well I already have almost no trunk space as is so mine is mounted here in from of the MACH1000. I can reach back while driving and open it and flick my heater on. I like it there alot it makes it more concealed too. There is just enough room to get the bottle to fit between the back of the seat and the amp rack. My feed line goes under the car, but you can run the line under the carpet and off to the side so it looks cleaner as well. Thats how i do mustangs when I have installed kits in them. Either running the bottle outside witha hole drilled or I run it under the carpet and to the driver side up to the firewall.

Finally ran the nitrous through it...a buddy of mine..who builds drag cars, him and his dad.. (both have 7 second mustangs on nitrous btw) told me to show up to his shop, put the jets in, filled up the bottle (hour and a half cause its gotta be frozen) tested the purge, worked, and then we took it on a private road at his house (1/4 mile strip with a sand pit) and ran it...he told me not to go through first until i have the posi...so i went second 3k rpms, hit my button, and went to 4th gear, i'm assuming...i was at 100mph extremely quick, no time yet though, actual test and tune is next friday..
Hes wanting to take my manifold off, do something to it (its not port and polish, forgot what its called) and do some internal work... just so happens, his dad is a authorized dealer for SCAT and he can get me a set of nice forged pistons for about $300 or so he thinks..
But, I am hooked... thanks for the help spike

Fyi dont spray in overdrive. Im guessing hes port matching the intake gaskets? You can try to spray in first it may or may not hook depending on what speed your going. Im glad you got it working, its pretty damn awesome isn't it.

Well so you know, do NOT spray in overdrive (4th gear). Make sure you dont go fast enough for that or just press the button when you do spray to turn off OD. We need some video of the v6 too. Oh yeah and its a 75shot right?
