Takes around 5 mins before i see any temp change on the gauge. You should be able to feel the heater actully getting hot to the touch.

I remmber it working well when my buddy installed it. The band was hot. Just not that hot. Does the gauge rise up even tho the bottle ain't open. It should right? I live in begs and I leave it in the trunk and it never goes higher then 930 or 950. I madeth mistake of leaving the bottle open all week ( in act) andit still never got hot. It has n2o cuz I'm able to purge

It wont change the reading unless the bottle is open other wise the pressure isn't in the line and thus your bottle pressure gauge isn't doing ****. They don't get that hot around 85* is what they heat up to. And just because you can purge doesn't mean there is alot of nitrous in there. Once they get low around say 1lb or less your bottle will be very hard to get any pressure out of it. The less nitrous you have in the bottle the longer it takes to heat it up and get enough pressure. I usually take mine out once they get below say 800 psi with the heater on and top them off to get topped off. They normally have 1-2 lbs of nitrous in them.
