well hey everyone i just bought a 90 gt w/ stock motor but it was rebuilt (i was told) well im looking to add some cheap hp and i keep getting the same response when i ask someone whats the best was to get more hp everyone says put a bottle in i was wondering if anyone knows whats the best kit for a 90 gt w/ mt and how much is too much i was told by my brother no more than 125 shot on a stock motor. i wanted to at least put in a 150 whats recomended for me thanks dave

 

the 86-92 have forgded pistons so dont be scared of a 150shot. But dont start there use 100pills get used to it and see how you feel (fuel and other upgrades will be needed). There is no "BEST" kit regardless of what NX nutswingers say. Pick whatever kit you like the best that fits your budget and has everything you like. Other then that i higly recomend a wet kit for sure on a 5L they love it.Wet kits add nitrous and fuel were as a dry kit onyl adds nitrous and relys on the car to add the fuel (aka injectors add it). If you didnt know that.

Also you will want to upgrade the fuel pump at the least with either route you go (wet or dry) as of the age and miles on your stock pump.

theres more to say but you gotta deceide which way you wanna go before i say anymore.

 

i plan to just piece together my own kit with some ebay stuff. pick up some compucar solenoids, some cheap line and a bottle. need a wot switch and some other little odds and ends. can do a whole kit for under $300 for good stuff. just the basics needed to run. if you have a 5spd spend the money for a window switch...
