Default saleen series IV?

So, i'm coming home from the desert this weekend, i just re-enlisted, and i have some money. i was looking on ebay, and found the saleen series IV kit for around $4100 (intercooled). is anyone running this? i've heard that it doesn't make as much power as a kenne bell @ the same boost level, but, the kit is also quite a bit cheaper. i want the kenne bell, but i don't know if i want to drop the extra 2 grand into it. i want a positive displacement blower, so vortech/procharger/etc are pretty much out.

yep the saleen is not very effecent. thats why they come stock with 6psi pulleys on them. You can up it to as high as 10psi i belive i have seen from chicane racing. I am not sure why you want a roots style or positive displacment blower, But you would save alot of money going the other routes like the ones you said. Otherwise just wait it out and search the internet till you find a good deal on a used KB 1.7
