Let us know if your tuner has trouble getting that lean spike down. I heard they are pretty bad with that plate kit. Also be sure to post that graph.

Yea im sure that I could beat just a GT w/ 8 pounds from a vortech. I just want to be able to have the power all the time. Also when you put a blower on a car it changes into a completely different animal. I wanna hear that blower whine when I start up the car and I wanna feel some BOOST. Boost will push you back in the seat smoothly while nitrous is just all raw power.

i know what you mean ...

but i had a friend with boost and while it was cool and all it still didnt give him the power he wanted. the hotter the car got the less power it was making and he was getting blown by nitro stangs left and right

i would agree. Here is a little setup to kinda show that is true. i have two freinds with v6 stangs one is a 94 with a 00 v6 the other is a 99. The 94 has a ati kit making 12psi the 99 has nitrous (100shot) both have gears and almost same exhuast. the nitrous one beats him just about every single time they have raced. and the nitrous fed 99 is a auto the 94 is manual.

Oh well, I just want to put a blower on it. I think theyre so cool. Its a good starting point for upgrades also. When I get the blower installed and tuned, Im going to buy a bare 4.6 block for 200 bucks. Then ill just add some rods here and some pistons there.....By next year I should have a fully forged shortblock ready for 15 pounds of boost. I could probably push more than that. Theres just so many options. When you get to large shots of nitrous the power doesnt hit quite as hard as you would want it to. Like if I ran a 200 shot and then I went to 300..... My E.T. slips wouldnt change much. Theres so much torque that the car wont stay hooked up and you can only push so much spray into those intake ports before something nasty happens....

if you had slicks you wouldnt have traction problems, but i wont argue my point i like boost too but nitrous is way more fun and cheaper.

I know this might sound dumb but. I can't wait to get my nitrous set-up. Yea the power is going to be awesome but I can't wait to purge on someone and see their face. I've heard it's priceless

I may keep it. Itll just put off the blower install for about a month longer than what I though it would take.
