Default '98 Vert with Anthracite Bullit's

Here is my car, as promised on another message. I will be lowering it within the next 2 weeks, and I will have to replace my exhaust tips as you can see. I have the 17x9 - 17x10.5 bullits from MT. I am running 255/40/17 Sumitomo's on the front and 275/40/17 Dunlop SP 5000's on the rear. Tell me what you guys think.

How do them dunlops grip? Any problems at all??

Man, I love them! They are the best wet weather tire I have had. Goodyear Eagle GT's suck! The Dunlop's give you dry ground type grip on wet roads! It makes driving fun, even in the rain. No hydroplaning or fishtailing. I will try the Sumitomo's on the rear to compare once my dunlop's go thin, just for the matching all 4 thing plus the deal I got on the Sumitomo's at tire rack ($105 each) was great.

Looks great,huge improvement and well worth the money you spent. Looks like you could even fit some 315's on the rear with those deep dish wheels. I'm sure it will look even better lowered slightly. Thanks for the pic's

Default Update on my Stang

Guys, I finally dropped my car. I used the Ford "C" springs and KYB struts (GR-2) and (Gas adjust) shocks. Got the springs from Mustang Tuning, got the struts and shocks from Texas Mustang. Check out the pics. Oh yeah, you'll notice some great "curb rash" I put on my rim from trying to drive and find a phone number in my PDA all at the same time! I'm an idiot. I'll have to pay a local rim repair guy $200 to repair 3 rims and make them smooth again. As far as the ride with the new suspension parts......I love it! I heard so many different stories about lowering your car, and the negative ones always stick out. I was thinking my car would ride rough, and bumpy. But my car seems to ride smoother and definitely takes turns better. No more roll or sway just quick sharp moves. It's great. I was impressed with the look that the "C" springs gave my car also. I thought of buying the Eibach, or Steeda etc, but for $139 for the Fords from MT, it was a deal worth trying. It was well worth it! I figured Ford would make a decent part for their own car and it seems my hunch was right.

so I can assume that you didn't cut off the "dead coil" on your spring install?

Thanks for the comments guys. Yeah, I know "Curbs" are not my friends! :angry4: As far as cutting the "dead coil," never heard of that. What is that? What does it do for your spring etc? Explain.
