Hell yeah man, I love how mine looks sooooo much better than the stock one.

Badfish 01-17-2006 05:36 PM

yeah man, 8 nch ants rule!

Jack The Ripper 01-17-2006 06:12 PM

Heh, Take the stock one, put a little piece of paper towel over the ball, get some pliars and yank it off.
Next, measure your attenna to whatever length you want and cut it. Take a file, file the edges of the top down so the old tip can be refitted, use some epoxy and voila, instant free shorty attenna.

Yeah, i bought mine. My buddy wanted to get one for his cobra and we tried shortening my old stock attenna, worked like a charm. tool about 30 minuits, but it worked. I shoulda charged him 20 bucks for my old stock attenna.

hockeyplayerhere 01-17-2006 08:07 PM

looks great, everybody gives me crap about how small mine is but i think it looks so much cleaner than stock

Mug11 01-17-2006 08:17 PM

Looks good. but i like the 14 inch, so it's lined up with the top of the car. But whatever floats your boat, doesn't float mine! lol, awesome.

GREG@94GT 01-17-2006 08:30 PM

shad0ws 01-17-2006 08:31 PM

I just put the 8inch on and I haven't had any reception problems at all.

redfire04 01-17-2006 08:33 PM

lookin good.
i just got mine along with the honey comb trim panel a couple weeks ago.
reception is great where i live, have had no problems with any stations.

GREG@94GT 01-17-2006 08:35 PM

i listen to ACDC cds cause i'm bada$$ so reception dont matter much to me...
:pepper: :pepper: :pepper: :pepper:

looks good tho... i might paint mine black

PureStang 01-17-2006 08:39 PM

theres a station here that i could never get inside my garage....and i was pissed cause when i work in my garage...i usually have my car stereo playing.....but since i put the 8" one on...i can get it in perfect reception...and i got my ipod hardwired into my car so i listen to that a lil more than the radio

o and chris (ripper)...ya gotta sport the Dukes of Hazzard CB radios....i was planin to buy one a while back...but then learned that they were expensive...

rebelyell 01-18-2006 12:09 AM

I noticed a slight reception loss with my 8" ant. We got ****ty stations here anyway so no great loss. I got over a few hundred rock songs burned to CD's so rockin aint no problem here, :pepper:

foncarelli 01-18-2006 12:20 AM

I might have to order one. I still got the rubber dicky.
