The MGW **** is a little tall, but the throw is still short which is what you're after anyway...

The mgw has a locking mechinism so you can go all the way to the base if you like. Steeda just has lock screws so its only your choice of 2 positions.

try a B&M shifter for our cars...a buddy of mine who sold me the hurst shifter had one in his car.....and damn!! that thing was like going into the shift boot..not comin out...and it was short as anything...he barely moved hi hand an inch....an i tried to move it...no luck...
