Just a couple of shot's I took yesterday of the 03 GT I bought my stepson.

 

What a nice GT! What mods have you done to it for him?

1.18x9 / 18x10 Anthracite Bullitts on 265/35/18 & 285/35/18 Sumitomo HTRZII
2. H&R Sport Springs
3. Magnaflow Catback Exhaust
4. 3 piece grill delete
5. Mach 1 chin spoiler
6. 14" black antenna
7. MGW satin finish cig plug, a/c *****, radio ****, and door lock pins.

This has all been added since I bought the car in mid September this year.

Looks Real Nice...How is he likin those H&R's I'm 99% sure thats what I'm gettin for x-mas...

 

The H&R's sit real nice and the ride is great. I highly recommend them. I just ordered (thx Chris@MT) the pony center caps to replace the cobra caps that came with the wheels. We're looking at more MGW stuff for the inside and a JLT CAI painted true blue to match the car. Im also looking at cobra side mirrors, 03 cobra skirts, and maybe bullitt side scoops. We're also going to tint it in the spring as long as he doesnt wreck it between now and then. Damn my son's lucky I love stangs...lol...

How much did the springs lower it?

I just ordered the same Bullitts in black, and trying to guage how they'll look.

Also, what's the wear rating on the Sumitomo HTRZII tires? The desert heat out here is murder on soft compound tires, thats why I like harder tires like the BFG gForce TAs.

The drop is around 1.5" front and back with the H&R Sports.

The boy just turned 16 on October 12th. Yeah he's spoiled, but he's a 3.8 GPA student, all-star baseball player, starting linebacker and captain on the football team, and never gives me any problems at all. Just an all around good kid. (Im hoping the stang will change all that )

damn ur kid has no idea how lucky he is.. i mean im 16, 3.4 gpa, in cadets, doesnt argue etc... Im not allowed to buy a gt only a 6 and im getting no help from my parents and they say no mods allowed (yeah right)

 

crazy i agree with you man, i know how you feel...i'm 17, 3.5-4.0 gpa on average, never any issues with anything..and the parents bought me a 2001 v6 w/ an auto tranny...i mean come on, at least get me a stick shift...o well, i'll still smoke those hondas all day long(at least the ones i see around here...)

nice GT you bought for your son, lucky kid, hope to see what you do to it in the future...that's defintly a good platform to begin modding from...nice purchase

 

Dont take this the wrong way, but if you want a v8 to "smoke hondas all day" maybe its a good thing you dont drive a v8.

 

hahaha...id have to agree w/ matt.....a VW golf 1.8t (so its not a honda but u get the idea...completley riced) pulled up next to me and reved his eninge.....it just so happened that i had my cat back unbolted from the midpipe(hey i was bored and wanted to see wat it sounded like)..so i reved my engine and he just stoped...the light turned green and he pulled away like a granny...it was funny.....

great looking car that u got for ur son...i too am 17 but i had to fork out more than half(bout 10k).......i like that blue too....

 

wow i guess im lucky, i got my GT when i was 16, ****ty grades - 3.0 GPA, dont play sports, ive been caught...let;s just say stuff i shouldant have been doing

Real sweet car! He's only 16 so hopefully he'll use his head when driving that thing. I'm 19, 4.0 GPA all of high school, no sports, worked 2 jobs for 2 years, and bought my 03 GT 1 month ago for cash.
